1. Information Collection and Use

Privacy is at the core of our design. All image processing and optical character recognition (OCR) is performed locally on your device using the Apple Vision framework. Barcode detection is also handled entirely on-device without relying on any external services.

• We do not collect, upload, or share your photos, scanned images, or recognition results.
• We do not send any user content data to external servers, except for the network communication necessary for in-app purchase transactions.
• We do not collect personally identifiable information such as name, address, phone number, or email address.
• The App does not require an account and does not track usage behavior, perform behavioral analytics, or build user profiles.
• The App does not use any form of device fingerprinting or cross-app tracking.

2. Camera and Photo Library Access

To provide text comparison and barcode detection functionality, the App requires the following system permissions:

• Camera access (NSCameraUsageDescription): Used to photograph texts or printed materials for verification. Triggered only when you actively use the capture feature and does not run in the background.
• Photo Library access (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): Used to select images already stored in your photo library. Triggered only when you actively choose to import photos.

You retain full control over these permissions and may revoke them at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera / Photos. Revoking access disables the related feature but does not affect your locally saved project data.

3. Data Storage and Retention

• All photos, OCR results, barcode detection results, and comparison reports are stored solely in the device's local file system (Application Support directory).
• Inspection project data is saved via the SwiftData framework in the device's local database. No cloud sync — your content data never leaves your device.
• Exported PDF reports are saved to the local path you specify and are managed entirely by you.
• When you delete an inspection project within the App, associated image files, database records, and thumbnail cache are permanently removed.
• Uninstalling the App causes all locally stored data to be deleted by the operating system.

Because no copy of your content data exists outside your device, we are unable to delete data on your behalf — all deletion is performed locally under your control.

4. In-App Purchases and Network Communication

The App offers In-App Purchases (IAP) to unlock premium features. IAP involves the following network communications:

• Purchase transactions are processed through the Apple App Store. All payment information is handled by Apple — the developer does not collect or store any payment card numbers or billing information.
• The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework to verify purchase receipts with Apple's servers. This process transmits only the necessary purchase receipt, no personally identifiable information or user content.
• Transaction records generated by in-app purchases are managed by Apple, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
• All core functionality (OCR, barcode detection, text comparison, PDF generation) runs locally on-device and does not require a network connection, except IAP verification.

To manage subscriptions, request refunds, or review purchase history, please use your Apple App Store account. The developer cannot process refund requests directly.

5. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Aside from Apple StoreKit, the App integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection SDKs. All built on Apple native frameworks:

• OCR text recognition: Apple Vision Framework
• Barcode detection: Apple Vision Framework
• Data persistence: Apple SwiftData
• PDF generation: Apple UIGraphicsPDFRenderer
• In-App Purchases: Apple StoreKit Framework

The only third-party channels: (1) the iOS mail client when you tap "Contact Us"; (2) Apple IAP flow, processed independently by Apple. No data is transmitted automatically.

6. Your Rights

Because the App does not collect personal information, we hold no user data records for you to access, correct, delete, or export. You have full control over all content data stored on your device:

• Access & Export: View all inspection projects and export PDF reports at any time within the App.
• Deletion: Delete individual projects within the App or remove all local data by uninstalling the App.

If you are located in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you are entitled to the same rights, exercisable locally on your device. For any other privacy concerns, please contact us.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for enterprise text verification professionals and is not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly provide services to children under 13 (or under 16 in EU jurisdictions).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect feature changes or regulatory requirements. Updated policy will be displayed on the About page within the App. We will notify you via App version updates when material changes occur:

• We begin collecting a new category of personal information;
• We share data with third parties;
• We change where or how data is stored or processed.

Continued use of the App following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
